Material used can either be a sheer polyester mesh (soft, lightweight and flimsy that can be difficult to glue in place) or buckram (stiffer but easy to work with). The sheer material can be easier to look out of since the fibers are a lot thinner where buckram is more thick strands.

These eyes are made by dye-sublimation which is where the ink turns from a solid element into a gas with high heat and pressure. This allows the gas to enter the fibers of the material and infuse with, resulting in rich, vibrant colors that are permanent. Can be easily washed.
