Feet Paws - General Care
You can use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and mist over the outside and inside to help deodorize and disinfect. Be sure to do this after every use.
Cleaning
If the paws have electronic components installed, you can only spot clean. Do not submerge in water.
Spot Cleaning
- You can use a carpet cleaner spray like Folex, spraying over the spot you want cleaned and using your fingers to work into the fur or a comb, breaking up the dirt. Then using a rag or paper towel, press down on the area to absorb the moisture. You can also spray some water over the area to help lift any remaining dirt. Once you are finished use a fan to help dry out the fur and brush.
Rag Wash
- You can use a wet rag with a little detergent and softly press/rub over the fur and liner. Use another wet rag to rinse away the soap, pressing into. To help dry you can then pad it down with a dry rag and place the paws in front of a fan, rotating around. Make sure paws are fully dry inside and out before storing.
Deep Cleaning
- If you are needing a more deep clean you can fill up a tub with cold to warm water, adding a little bit of detergent and then placing the paws in. Now massage over the fur as well as the inside liner. Once done drain the tub and rinse with water, using your hands inside and out to squeeze dry or use some towels to pad dry. Place a fan in front and rotate around for a few hours, brushing once in a while till fully dry.
